The Bingo Bear Rescue Centre was founded in 1990. The aims of The Bingo Bear Rescue Centre are to prevent the suffering of Bingo Bears worldwide through the provision of high quality, professional advice, training and support on bear welfare. Permanent sanctuary is provided to any Bingo Bear in need of refuge.

The Bingo Bear Rescue Centres are home to around 30 Bingo Bears. There are two centres:

• North-East England: Set in unspoilt farmland and countryside near the sea. Perfect for climbing trees and collecting honey.
• Prague, Czech Republic: This location is ideal for those Bingo Bears who are used to a city centre location.

Visitors return time and again to visit the Bears and listen to their favourite phrases.
